BUILDING A BETTER BEADLOCK: ITP INTRODUCES THE T-9 PRO SERIES TRAC-LOCK
ITP has taken a proven high-performance wheel design and given it a clean, simplified makeover. We are proud to announce the all-new T-9 Pro Series Trac-Lock beadlock wheel. The Trac-Lock is a competition-ready wheel that provides racers and aggressive trail or sand dune riders with exceptional tire retention capabilities while offering all the great features and benefits provided throughout ITP’s T-9 Pro Series wheel line. These include a rugged .190 wall, a light yet amazingly strong center and a double-roll inner lip for even greater durability. The rugged, precision-formed outer bead retention ring is secured with tough, recessed allen bolts. The 4/110 bolt pattern also utilizes tapered, stainless steel lug nut inserts for a more true and secure fit on OEM wheel hubs that use tapered lug nuts. How good is the new Trac-Lock? Like all T-9 Pro Series wheels, it carries the rigorous QS 9000 quality certification! The ITP Trac-Lock rolls out with polished or black finishes in 8x8 and 9x8 sizes with 4/110 and 4/115 bolt patterns. Look for more sizes to become available in the near future. The Trac-Lock is a perfect complement to our proven, National-winning Pro-Lock beadlock model, but is slightly lighter, offers easier tire mounting and is more budget-conscious. No matter how you look at it, the new ITP Trac-Lock is a lot of wheel for the money! WOODS RACERS REJOICE! ITP ROLLS OUT THE HOLESHOT GNCC
Over the last two decades, no ATV tire has visited winner's circle more than the ITP Holeshot line. Now, in 2006, there is a Holeshot model available for virtually any type of off-road racing condition. This finely tuned specialization equates to being able to provide the absolute best tire possible for any given machine on any given terrain on any given day. And now ITP has put an even tighter focus on the exploding woods racing scene with the release of the all-new Holeshot GNCC. As you might guess, the Holeshot GNCC is specifically designed for the type of riding environment found in the hugely popular Grand National Cross Country Championship Series. Designed and developed for today's long-travel, high-performance quads, the Holeshot GNCC offers exceptional overall capabilities, with an emphasis on reducing rider fatigue and lowering lap times - from the green flag to the checkered. Lighter, easier steering is accomplished with the front Holeshot GNCC's more rounded profile and angled knob pattern, while the rear GNCC's more open tread and split-knob design provide exceptional straight-line grip, balanced cornering and unbeatable clean-out. Great handling and traction are complemented by a super-tough carcass that can easily deal with all the tight trees, rocks, roots and ruts found on a typical GNCC race course. Long wear and puncture resistance were key considerations in the creation of the Holeshot GNCC. The more challenging the course, the greater advantage the Holeshot GNCC rider will enjoy. The new Holeshot GNCC was engineered and tested with considerable input from ITP's star GNCC Series riders, most notably Team Suzuki's William Yokley. This woods racing veteran has been using the new GNCC extensively this season, and has already captured several top finishes. He feels that the Holeshot GNCC is the next big step in tire technology, and anticipates using this new tire on virtually every type of course - in all conditions - in 2006. "Compared to the older tires, the GNCC front's rounder profile lets it track straighter and ride smoother," Yokley reports. "It's a lighter tire, too, so it maneuvers easier and cuts down on feedback through the handlebars. There's a lot less abuse to your hands, which makes a big difference two hours into a race. The rear GNCC is also lighter and very easy to sling around in the woods. The taller lugs give it so much more traction-it really hooks up, with a lot of grip and less wheelspin under power. But you can slide it around when you need to, with less bounce in rough corners. Overall these tires are very stable at higher speeds, but they also work really good in the slower ruts, rocks and braking bumps. They just don't jerk you around as much, which really reduces fatigue. They seem to be wearing very well, and I've bashed them into a few big rocks and stumps and they're holding up great." The Holeshot GNCC debuts in a 22x7-10 up front, and two sizes out back: 20x10-9 and 21x11-9 — all with durable 6-ply ratings. ITP DEBUTS NEW TERRACROSS R/T (RADIAL TRAIL) TIRE
ITP is proud to introduce the all-new TerraCross R/T, the new standard in ATV and utility vehicle trail tires. The ITP TerraCross R/T utilizes radial construction for an ultra-smooth ride, significantly enhancing operator comfort and confidence on hard-pack surfaces. And with its unique, interlocking tread pattern and wide footprint, the TerraCross R/T also delivers exceptional traction and flotation, making it ideal for mud, snow and sand. Another TerraCross R/T exclusive is its wrap-around shoulder lug design, which provides excellent sidewall protection and grip when navigating trails with large ruts or rocks. And despite its super-tough 6-ply construction, the TerraCross R/T is surprisingly light in weight. It's the best of all worlds: highly capable and reliable in loose and rugged conditions, yet smooth and sure-footed on smoother terrain! The ITP TerraCross R/T rolls out with in several sizes for sport-utility quads: 25/8R-12 and 26/8R-14 fronts, and 25/10R-12 and 26/11R-14 rears. You'll also find two sizes ideal for side-by-side utility vehicle applications: a 26/9R-14 front and a 26/11R-14 rear. ITP has even created a number of tire/wheel kits for the Rhino, Mule, Prowler and Ranger, with the TerraCross R/T mounted on ITP's awesome C-Series Type 7 aluminum wheel (in a variety of finishes). Leave it to ITP to lead the way with innovative, top-quality, high-performance products for this fast-growing market. Bolt-on convenience and value never looked better! MORE WINNING INNOVATION: ITP ROLLS OUT THE HOLESHOT SX
No other tire in the history of ATV racing has claimed more individual victories and series championships - in every form of competition imaginable - than the ITP Holeshot. ITP is determined to keep this legacy alive with the introduction of the all-new Holeshot SX, the most technologically advanced motocross tire ever. The Holeshot SX has been carefully designed and painstakingly developed to dominate on hard-packed motocross tracks. Key to this process was the extensive input of several National-caliber race teams and riders, who specifically requested a tire that could excel on this type of MX course. The drier, slicker and faster the track surface - a very common condition in today's racing environment - the greater an advantage the Holeshot SX rider will enjoy. The new Holeshot SX is being offered in both front and rear configurations, each with its own unique characteristics yet built to perfectly complement each other as a package. The 18x10-8 rear Holeshot SX's advantages start with a specially reinforced carcass that minimizes stretching while maintaining a flat profile, thus providing consistent feel and performance without a sacrifice in ride comfort. A new "RR" tread compound has been formulated, and after extensive testing has proven to provide unmatched hard pack performance as well as surprisingly long tire life (getting more motos out of a set of tires was a primary goal). The SX tread pattern uses more tightly spaced knobs to increase the tire contact patch, while the redesigned knobs themselves have been laterally sipped (thinly cut) to yield twice the number of biting edges than any Holeshot tire that's come before. Finally, the shoulder knobs utilize a new tapered shape that offers greater control during corner transitions. The 20x6-10 front Holeshot SX also incorporates a tighter knob pattern and sipped knobs for an increased contact area, improving steering response as well as braking control in hard pack conditions. The new rubber compound helps to keep the knob edges sharper longer, while the reinforced carcass also magnifies cornering precision. A secondary benefit of this new carcass design is that it allows for lower tire pressures than in the past, enhancing ride comfort as well as steering traction. ITP GOES REALLY BIG WITH THE 30" MUD LITE XXL
Here it is: the biggest, baddest mud/trail tire on the planet today. ITP introduces the new Mud Lite XXL, the ATV industry's largest tire ever — now available in a 30x10-12 size for front and rear applications (a 30x12-12 size will be coming soon)! The Mud Lite XXL provides all the benefits of ITP's standard Mud Lite line, including phenomenal all-conditions traction and handling, exceptional 6-ply durability and a smooth, radial-like ride, but with its taller profile and super-aggressive 1.3-inch-deep lugs, this is an extreme tire for extreme machines in the most extreme conditions. AS GOOD AS NEW: ITP LAUNCHES THE HOLESHOT MXR6
Always striving to provide high-performance ATV riders with the best tires possible, ITP has taken one of its most successful Holeshot tire models ever and made it significantly better. There have been so many important changes and such an increase in overall performance, in fact, that it can be considered a new model for the 2006 season: the Holeshot MXR6. For example, the rear MXR6 features a new, reinforced carcass that greatly minimizes stretching to maintain a flat profile during aggressive acceleration and cornering. The result is a much more consistent feel and enhanced traction, as well as better balance of straight-line and turning grip. This new carcass also allows for lower tire pressures, which increases ride comfort as well as control. The end result is lower lap times from green flag to checkered. The new front MXR6 is specifically designed to complement the rear MXR6, and it now utilizes a longer-wearing tread compound, which means the rider will benefit from more motos between tire replacements. Both the front and rear Holeshot MXR6 tires use a proven tread design that’s ideal for loose track surfaces, employing wider-spaced split knobs for better bite and clean-out. Like all ITP Holeshots, the 2-ply MXR6 tires are exceptionally light yet tough enough to tackle the harshest tracks with confidence. The rear MXR6 is available in two sizes, 18x10-8 and 18x10-9, while the front MXR6 comes in 19x6-10 and 20x6-10. IF YOU HAVE A UTILITY VEHICLE, ITP HAS THE PERFECT TIRE/WHEEL KIT
