MX LEGEND TURNED MONSTER TRUCK STAR DAMON BRADSHAW
LIKES HIS ITP TIRES & WHEELS
Motorcycle motocross fans are very familiar with the name Damon Bradshaw. He burst onto the pro MX scene in the late '80s out of North Carolina and quickly earned himself the nickname "The Beast from the East." In 1989, Bradshaw won the AMA 125 East Supercross title and was named AMA Rookie of the Year. And although he captured numerous AMA National and Supercross event victories and was twice a member of winning Motocross des Nations teams, Bradshaw finished his career in 1993 as one of the fastest riders never to have earned a major championship title. His gritty personality and take-no-prisoners attitude won him many supporters, however.
Bradshaw has now stepped back into the spotlight as a top monster truck driver competing in the popular and nationally televised Monster Jam series. Now 34 and living on his ranch in McCall, Idaho, Bradshaw drives the 1,465-horsepower, U.S. Air Force-sponsored Afterburner. According to Bradshaw, "It's an honor representing the men and women who fight for the safety of our nation."
Bradshaw and other top drivers spend time with fans prior to every event, signing autographs, posing for photos and showing off their amazing vehicles. Included in Bradshaw's Air Force pit party display is a Yamaha Grizzly equipped with ITP Mud Lite XTR tires and 14-inch SS112 Alloy wheels. At the events that have taken place so far in 2007, this quad has gotten almost as much attention as Afterburner!
