ITP ADDS PLATINUM FINISH TO 12- AND 14-INCH SS212 LINE

Due to popular demand, ITP has added a platinum finish option to its SS212 alloy wheel line. Previously available only in the 15-inch size, this rich platinum finish is now available for the 12- and 14-inch SS212 as well. Two coats of paint plus a coat of gloss clear coat makes this platinum finish as durable as it is attractive.

This one-piece wheel, with a distinctively muscular style, is available in a 12x7 size, as well as unique 14x6 and 14x8 sizes designed specifically for front and rear applications, respectively. These dedicated sizes provide more precise fitment and make the most of 26- and 27-inch radial tire performance on most late-model 4x4 sport/utility ATVs as well as many side-by-side UTV applications. The 14-inch models are a great choice for UTVs, as they carry an 800 lb. load rating (12-inch ATV models are rated at 700 lbs.)!

Like all SS Alloy wheels, the SS212 comes standard with a custom SS wheel cap and is manufactured through ITP’s high-tech Advancecast process, resulting in an incredibly strong yet light final product. ITP is so confident of the SS212’s durability, in fact, that it’s covered by a lifetime structural warranty: if you bend or break it, ITP will replace it!





INTRODUCING THE 15-in. T-9 PRO SERIES TRAC-LOCK WHEEL

The T-9 Pro Series Trac-Lock is a 15-inch beadlock wheel designed specifically for dune buggies and off-road race/recreation cars. The wheel is constructed of exceptionally durable yet light 6mm (.236) 6061 aircraft grade spun aluminum that's double heat-treated for extra strength. A rolled lip on the inside wheel half is an industry first and provides an extra level of protection in this vulnerable area. The rugged clamp ring is precisely formed from 6mm aluminum as well, utilizing a self-centering design for a better fitting, truer running tire. Steel lug nut hole inserts add to this wheel's fit, longevity and ease of use (no washers needed). The 15-in. T-9 Pro Series Trac-Lock is manufactured to the highest specifications, earning a rigorous QS9000 certification.

The T-9 Pro Series Trac-Lock debuts in 15x6, 15x10 and 15x12 sizing, with a standard 5/205 bolt pattern (look for non-beadlock models of this wheel in the near future). This beadlock wheel is also offered in a bolt-in billet centered option, which allows for simple removal and installation and the option of anodizing or painting for a distinct, custom look.

Hot on the heels of the QuadCross MX PRO Lite - a tire that has stunned the ATV motocross ranks since its debut last spring, capturing four AMA ATV Pro National wins - ITP now announces the release of the all-new QuadCross XC, designed specifically for high-performance trail riding and racing. The QuadCross XC utilizes all of the design features that have made the MX PRO Lite such a winner, but adds the extra strength and larger sizing required for cross country use.

The QuadCross XC incorporates a tough 6-ply carcass for higher puncture resistance and exceptional overall durability. This advanced carcass design has been proven to stiffen the sidewall during side loads without compromising ride quality. Along with reducing the bounce that's common on most cross country knobbies, this design benefits acceleration, braking, cornering and overall balance as well, significantly reducing fatigue and lap times. ITP's popular, proven T-9 series of spun aluminum wheels has been expanded with the introduction of the all-new Pro Mod line.

Highlights of the ITP T-9 Pro Mod include a head-turning polished finish, a double-rolled lip for excellent durability and ease of tire mounting, rugged yet lightweight .190 wall construction and the rigorous QS 9000 quality certification.

The QuadCross MX PRO Lite represents the next big step in race tire technology, by way of significant updates to an already proven product. Compared to the QuadCross MX PRO, this new tire is a pound lighter in front and two pounds lighter in back - a monumental difference considering the standard tire was already one of the lightest on the market. The QuadCross MX PRO Lite also features a new 2-ply carcass utilizing a sidewall apex design that stiffens the sidewall during side loads without compromising ride quality. Acceleration, braking, cornering and overall balance and feel have all benefited from this new carcass as well as a tried-and-true tread pattern, especially on hard-packed track surfaces.

The rear QuadCross MX PRO Lite comes with an all-new rubber compound as well, a high-tech formulation that offers superior grip while still delivering extended wear characteristics. This is not just a softer tire that hooks up well for three laps and is then ready for the dumpster! This is a pro-level tire now being made accessible to all racers.

The new QuadCross MX PRO Lite was made possible through the tireless efforts and invaluable input of numerous factory riders and technicians during the 2008 racing season, specifically from Team Monster Energy Kawasaki and Team Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson. These teams are running the QuadCross MX PRO Lite in 2009 as well, and in fact Kawasaki’s Josh Creamer gave the new production model a winning debut in the AMA ATV Pro National season-opening moto at Glen Helen Raceway in March (grabbing a decisive holeshot and leading from wire to wire). Teammate Chad Wienen then made history by being the first to take an overall victory on these new tires, scoring a dominant 1-1 moto sweep at round five of the series in Walnut, Illinois.

According to team manager Jimmy White, "During pre-season testing we were looking for every advantage we could find, and this new QuadCross MX PRO Lite dropped our lap times by two seconds compared to any other tire we tried - that's a lot for any single component change, so the choice was obvious."

Defending ITP/Yamaha QuadCross Series Champion Dustin Nelson used the production tires for the first time at the second round of the 2009 season and took holeshots in both his heat and the main event, and ended up winning for the first time this year. "I definitely noticed a huge improvement for the start and acceleration," he reported. "The new tires make the bike feel like it has an extra pony or two."

The new QuadCross MX PRO Lite is now available in 20x6-10 front (P/N 560554) and 18x10-8 rear (P/N 560533) sizes. The all-new TundraCross features nearly 100 carbide-tipped steel case studs that are strategically placed for maximum performance on ice and snow.
