Wienen came from behind to win moto one, then led moto two from start to finish on the fast, rocky Unadilla track.


Bad luck in the first two events of the series have been followed by two overall wins and three second place finishes, moving Wienen from well back in the standings into first place in points.


Wienen has developed a fondness for champagne.

The Monster Energy Kawasaki team and ITP's new QuadCross MX PRO Lite tires have made it three in a row in the ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship Series. Chad Wienen put in another dominating performance at Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, New York, round seven on the 2009 schedule. Wienen won both motos on his KFX450 to easily capture the overall victory, and in the process took over the championship points lead. Finishing third overall for the day was Warnert Racing Can-Am's John Natalie, with 5-2 finishes, using QuadCross MX PRO Lite tires as well.
